Its that time of the year again. Where does he time go. My annual question is what restorations can we look forward to being finished in the year 2017?

Pat I will chime in on your annual topic. I think that the XP-82 Twin Mustang should be flying in 2017. Since Im a huge Mustang fan am really looking forward to seeing aircraft fly.

C-97 is done. Ready to fly. We're just waiting on the FAA concerning crew relief. (No one's current in a C-97)

Barring any major MX issues, we ought to be out there a bit in 17.

Have you tried to get any spares from the one at Chanute before it becomes beer cans?

I believe there's a Mustang close to flight coming out of Midwest, whilst the ME109G is also coming along nicely. Maybe another flight for 2017?

How about the Wings & Rotors F-4?

Jerry Yagen's P-39 may also be ready by the end of 2017. Also, perhaps VWoC Spitfire and Hurricane?

I know Gerald Yagen has a P-63 on display at Virginia Beach and looked thru the FAA registry both Gerald Yagen and Training Services list 92 aircraft and didn't see a P39 registered. But then his P63 isn't listed, will never fly. His Fiat is listed , still being rebuilt in Germany. Where is his P39 located?
