DUAN museum review - Gippsland Armed Forces Museum

Wed Jan 25, 2017 11:48 pm

In the Gippsland region, located east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia is a small but growing aviation museum.

Situated at the West Sale Airport the Gippsland Armed Forces Museum, has on show exhibits that highlight the south east region of Australia extensive military aviation heritage covering from the WW2 timeframe through to modern day.

A team of volunteers manage an array of interesting, rare war time and peace time exhibits and aircraft. At the moment there are a few WW2 projects undergoing restoration such as Beaufort bomber sections.
