Can any Vultee experts tell me if these are BT-13 or BT-15 exhaust sections ? Of if I'm completely off base..

Looks as if you have a smattering of two different styles and sets.

I do see some BT-15 exhaust pieces in your pictures. The exhaust pieces for the Wright R-975 engines are the two mounting hole flange pipes with the welded tab ears for bolts on the top end of the exhaust stubs. Those are the smaller exhaust sections.

The larger semi-circular sections with the add-on exhaust shrouds do not appear to be BT-13. The three-hole exhaust mounting flange would be correct for a PW 985 engine but I don't recognize those pieces. The BT pipes are usually pretty easy to ID as they carry a 63 part number prefix and a small V stamp for the maker, Vultee.

Hope this helps.

A couple of the larger sections look like they're Beech 18 or C-45. I should have noted as well both the exhaust sections for the BT-13 and -15 both have the tabbed ears for bolt placement for assembly, not just the CW pipes for the 975.

If you'd like to part with some of the pieces I could use the Beech spares. If you PM me I'll identify them further.

Thanks!
