Col. Bud Anderson at Military Aviation Museum

I don't often post here, but this was too cool not to pass on to the "collective". The MAM flight line crew got to launch and recover KA-114 with WWII triple ace Col. Bud Anderson onboard. He was at MAM for an event on Saturday. Col Anderson took a ride in the DH Mosquito KA-114, courtesy of Jerry Yagen and Chief Pilot Mike Spalding. Great to see him - still going strong at 95! We got him "uploaded" into the Mossie for a beautiful early evening flight. All photos courtesy MAM photographer Mr. Art Norfolk.

Thanks for the post Ed. Good to hear from you and the beach.
I think you'd be hard pressed to fly with a finer human being than Bud Anderson.
What a legend and such a fine man. :supz:
I'd be really interested to hear his impressions of the Mosquito.

I echo those sentiments, & I see my friend Connie Bowlin was also there.
