I read today in the Useless (oops, USA) Today, and then in the Cinci Enquirer about this plane. The Useless article was very short in the states section, and basically said that the family of the man who owned the airplane are going to finish the project.
The Cinci article went on to tell that the owner was killed November 29th last year in a twin Cessna crash in Montana. The article says that the first parts for the project arrived the same day. Tom Rielly is quoted in the article and is involved in the restortation effort.
I guess at this point any press is good press for the project. At least being outside of Dayton, they may be able to take advantage of some tourism and perhaps get some more funding to help the project and proposed museum on the way.
