F4 Corsair main wheel

Can anyone confirm if this is an F4 Corsair main wheel ?

It is marked Goodyear USA HD 32 x 8



I understand from lists that I can see that the wildcat also had the same size wheel but had a cover on the front.

I was told it was from a Grumman Avenger but Ic ant see this design wheel on an Avenger.

I picked it up from Shropshire UK this week so must be from a Royal Navy aircraft.

Hi Brian,

After a quick check. According to parts books, Corsair wheel part number 530645. Hellcat wheel part number 530204. Don't know if they are interchangeable.
