I will take this one up.

For sure there are a number of spectral residents at Wendover airfield. While we were restoring the B-29 hangar several guys on the construction crew mentioned that if they arrived early to the job site before anyone else was there in the morning they often heard voices and felt distinctly they were not alone. this is also true of the OPS building, barracks and hospital buildings. Nothing specific but definitely you can, on occasion, realize there is a 'presence'.

Of specific note the bombardier training building which was converted to a fire station in the 1950's has a resident ghost. He is quite 'friendly' or at least does not do anything to really stress the living folks who use the building. We are not sure if he is a WWII era soldier or post war fire fighter. Either way he is there and seems to watch over the building.

Happy day 'Dia de Los Muertos'! And never forget the sacrifices made for the free!
