Wow great thread! Especially the Pirate and Reporter- never saw a Reporter with ordinance like that. Wish a Reporter survived- think the last one over ran the runway and cracked up in a ditch while fighting fires.

What a tragic mess. A firefighter was lost as well. Very sad. I'm on the edge of voluntary & mandatory evacuation
Anyone with ideas of visiting Santa Barbara anytime soon may want to wait for a while until things work themselves out again, which they will.
252,500 acres burned so far. Firefighters are doing an amazing job.
