Help! Ham Std 23E50 Hubs being scrapped tomorrow!

Tue Mar 07, 2006 6:39 pm

I received a call from an instructor at a maintenance school that would like to donate about 12 Hamilton Standard 23E50 prop hubs to a 501(c)3. If he does not receive a call from an organization that would like to make arrangements to pick them up, his superiors have told him to dispose of them for scrap value.

They are in good shape, magnafluxed and in the instructor’s opinion be made serviceable. There are several different dash numbers.

This is all the information I have permission to make public on this board.

If you know of a 501(c)3 that would like them please email me and I will give you the instructor’s cell phone number so you can make arrangements to pick them up.

If for some reason you cannot email me, call me at 320-864-4043. Please don’t PM me! I cannot effectively manage communications with web-based PMs.

I know this is very short notice, but it is what it is.

I thought we at WIX had a 501(c)3.
Or am I just making up crap in my sleep again.

I think the WIX non-profit status is still on the drawing boards :?:

If WIX has received 501(c)3 status, someone please have Scott phone me.

How about letting John/ Forgetten Field have them? They would get to a good home.

I don't understand the non profit only thing. Is it some kind of rule?

Where are they located?

Eric,

I have a 501c3 organization that would be happy to accept the hubs. send me your email address to dougr(@)petroblend.com

Thank you!

I want to thank everyone who called and emailed me!

We’ve all heard the story about something that “got away”, but through everyone’s help we were able to help these find a good home.

Scott, thanks for making this forum possible!
