F4U ammo boxes wanted

I'm trying to locate a full set of ammunition boxes for a 6 x .50 cal-armed F4U Corsair.

Any leads on a potential source for these would be much appreciated.

Why to the ammunition boxes have to be full? :shock:

Are you working for that guy in Alaska with a private air force? Are the ATF aware? Do the FAA know? :lol:

These are extremly rare, as the boxes do not just sit in the wing but rather are loaded with the case lids forming a section of wing skin. Also, the boxes are all of different sizes.

I've seen these fabricated before at Ezell Aviation, so you might consider giving them a call. They will definately not be an inexpensive item.
