This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Those are very nice. There was some discussion on the Flypast board recently about the potential for museums to raise some funds by bringing their aircraft outside on occasion for the benefit of photographers. Sounded like a good idea to me as the aircraft take on an entirely different aura when they are on the flight line and in natural light.

That's a great idea!
The aircraft look like they are ready for duty when they're out on the flightline in the daylight.
Thanks for the post.

Great photos, especially of A-36A Margie H - looks like she needs her rudder fabric patched. Shimmy IV and Five by Five were up against a wall facing away from view when I was there in April, so this is a big improvement.

Here's my photo of the A-36 from a few weeks back. Looks like your access was better than mine! Glad to know aircraft are returning to their final display positions. It was worth it though to see the Memphis Belle in a position of honor.
