Two (2) N3Ns

Thu Nov 01, 2018 4:17 pm

A friend is part-owner of two N3N (N-3N??) projects. There is one in the City of Bellaire, TX and the other is located at the Brookshire International Spaceport and Goat Yoga airfield.

I looked for data plate(s) on the one at the Bellaire location, and all I could find, was a lizard (see if you can find it in the picture). My friend says that the dataplates were probably stored.

In Brookshire, there are wings, and the fuselage there, has no wheels.

Apologies in advance, for the poor quality of the images, shot with my cell phone.

Saludos,

Tulio

Few are in this area in storage and another 1 or 2 are being restored.

It would be nice if the owners had an association like others have done. A friend just bought a C-170B from a member of the Cessna C-170 Association. Sharing knowledge and the "how to's" of restoration would go a long way to improving the value of the flying ones and help get a few more back in the air. Also help restores find or sell parts.
