https://cabinradio.ca/11802/news/dc-3-w ... s-mcbryan/Apparently last flown in 1988, bought by non-profit group Avialogs last year as a restoration attempt, apparently recently Buffalo has now purchased it and will get it back serviceable for next years celebrations....nice to see new life for a derelict air frame. I suspect the donor airframe parts will come from C-GWIR ???
Word on the street is this will be filmed and made into a TV special, maybe that is the angle for funding?
