Unknow US seaplane on book cover

I seen this seaplane in a book cover, but I wasn't able to identify it or find any more information about. It seems to be described as Navy PB4Y2.
Anyone know anyting about it?

Correct: flying boat, not seaplane from what I see.

In the defense of whoever made the error, with its raised cockpit, it does look a bit like a Consolidated Commodore or P2Y (albeit with two extra engines, a single tail, a forrest of extra struts,etc).

But obviously it looks nothing remotely like a PB2Y.
Again, to a layman, a P2Y and PB4Y must be similar...after all there is only an added 2 and "B".
