Aircraft Paint Tech order

This email was forwarded to me. Can anybody help me out? I have no idea which group commander's aircraft they are asking about.


"I send this message to try to find the Tech order for painting fighter aircraft;

I think it was in the 01-1- series but I can't remember what it was its been 40 Years

A friend wants it to paint a 1950's F-86A , We need the Gp commanders aircraft

Scheme, Can you help?"

Diddent the Unit commanders aircraft have the stripes or Stripe on the fuselage that would go from the top, down on an angle to the trailing edge of the wing???? I dont have exact proof of this, but I though I had read it somewhere.
