Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Was supposed to have been completed in 2003. A Gotha at an airshow now that would be really neat. Anyone know more about it?

A little bit more can be found here: http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/archi ... 24137.html

For such a large project there does not seem to be much info on the internet.

I'm not 100% sure if it is coming, but I think this Gotha which is based in Cleveland might be coming to the WWI Dawn Patrol Rendevous in Dayton this fall. It hasn't been confirmed, but they might be getting it.

Thanks for the heads up. That would be a great time to visit the Air Force Museum. Do you have any more information on this? I find it hard to believe, in this day and age, that someone can tackle a homebuilt project of this magnitude and not have any recent information on the internet.

A friend needed large wheels for his civil vintage project.
The cost of tooling the wheels was, as I recall, in excess of $30,000.
So the only way to economically do it was to make a production run of wheels for other restorers.
I was told by my friend that some were bought for a Gotha replica.
This must be it.

I'd love to see the plane.
The builder should be congratulated for such an ambitious project.
