T-28 at Pate Swap Meet

Sat Apr 27, 2019 3:44 pm

You never know just what you may find walking the rows upon rows at the Pate Automotive Swap Meet at Texas Motor Speedway. That said, imagine my surprise upon seeing this T-28 on a trailer. Sorry, I just could not make out the faint shadow of the serial number but, maybe someone here can decipher or is already aware of this airframe. Not sure how the purchaser from Finland is going to explain this purchase to the wife!

This was sold by Jason Barnett. I forget his user name here. He sometimes calls himself “The Village Idiot”.

Is that the T-28 prototype? It’s a taildragger with T-6 canopy. Maybe a trace of Southeast Asia camo, something for everyone, LOL.
