Just wanted to let everybody know that I've updated the Navy & Marine Corps Overseas Aircraft Loss List. The Corsair database has been updated up to 31 Mar 44. I've also started a database on Japanese Naval & Merchant Shipping losses to Navy & Marine aircraft. This database has just been started & only has a little info so far as my main focus is the Loss List.
If you haven't already, take a look at the loss List database. I've corrected/updated a lot of the info from the original microfilm list, including full names, File/Serial Numbers, corrected locations of the losses, reason for the loss & crew member names (original only has pilot names). Amazon has a four book set on the same subject going for around $125. But the WW2 NAR-PAC database has more detail, is constantly updated & is FREE.
Ok, shameless plug if done.
Thanks,
Mac
