Looking for a little clarification.
I know the
A-26 Invader/44-35788 is at the Cactus Air Force Wings & Wheels Museum.
Is it airworthy or purely static display only?

I would classify it as airworthy. I don't know how often it gets out, but it's been to the Air Races a couple of times. I think the last time was 2015. I would say it is still airworthy now as Cactus sent their Cobra to Reno last year. I'm under the impression they keep that along with their Bronco and the Invader all airworthy, just not flown all the time like some others.
If this is static versus airworthy it's definitely airworthy, 'active' might not be the right word but airworthy is.

They keep up on the maintenance of the Invader so I would consider it airworthy if not flown regularly. They keep quite a few of the aircraft ready to go and ones I've seen flown in the last year or so are the Bronco, Cobra, Albatross, Birddog, O-2 and maybe a couple of others. When I took an aspiring A&P over there a month or two ago they were putting the wing on the 2nd Bronco and it is coming along. They also consider their Seaknight helicopter airworthy.

Yes, forgot to mention a few of the more common birds, don't know how I forgot the Albatross! Wonder why they don't offer them up as airshow birds? There are some great closer shows (thinking about Truckee last weekend) that would more than likely pay for them to display, and then Cactus can advertise their museum at the same time. They have a great collection to show off!
