The company actually flew out of a grass field in between Elkhart and Goshen, IN. From what my Dad has said in the past is that the strip was about 2500' long with power lines at one end and they had several P-51's, which my Dad flew one of them back from Canada for Allison and Morton, at least one B-25 and a B-17 at the field. At least two of the 51's they brought back from Canada are still around, one is J. Yeagan's "Double Trouble 2" and the other is in a museum in England with Donald Duck on the fuselage. Please e-mail me (
coldaffyduck@cox.net) with any questions you have and I will ask my Father about it.
