cuffed(sp) props

could anyone tell me the purpose of the cuffed props seen on p51 please, is it just a differant style or do the "cuffs" serve a purpose, and are they only fitted to certain models?

Hi Reno...if you use the search feature and type in "cuffs" or "cuffed"
