Rise Like the Phoenix- The Story of P-51 A68-1

Wed Dec 25, 2019 4:43 pm

Merry Christmas everyone!

I apologize if there has been another thread started on this topic (couldn't find one), but I finally had some time to relax, and watch this video of six RAAF Mustangs used for A-bomb testing, abandoned at the site, and recovered years later, with A68-1 being flown out. Doing a little searching, I see that A68-1 is still listed as owned by the late Wiley Sanders, but does anyone know what happened to the other five Mustangs recovered?
