This F2H has nothing to do with Sanford, just happened to be in St. Louis with the above FH-1.

So all of the photos of the known surviving F2H-2(P) match up to these photos but the one I listed Construction number 456 it's safe to say this airframe was one of the many -2 pulled aside to be built as 2Ps. I guess the question is was it scrapped or?

Your original posts asked about two F2H's. I believe C/N 456 N4283A is actually the FH-1 and NOT a second F2H.

Looking for information on two different F2H banshees,

The first one is F2H-1 Bu# 122547 last reported as Gate Guard at NAS Sanford Fl what happen to this aircraft when Sanford was closed?

The Second is a big mystery it was registered as N4283A,
