Hi all
From what I’ve read, the first P-40F was converted from P-40D s/n 40-360 (Baugher). I’m wondering if it retained the 4-gun “D” wing configuration, or if it had 6 guns fitted? I’ve only been able to find three pics of it, two early on with regular tail and another later with the longer rear fuselage and experimental tall tail:

Any further pics/info on this aircraft would be great if anyone has any.
Thanks!
Greg V.
Edit: doesn’t seem to be any trace of that typical bulge on the underwing gun access panel in any of those pics.... did the P40-D have those?
