Great pics, thanks for sharing!
The Ju-88 was an amazingly versatile aircraft. Did the Allies have anything analogous? If so, what? Mosquito, B-25, P-38? Something else?

For the Ju.88 under restoration:
1) What explains the large "X" mid fuselage on the right side?
2) What is the green fuselage? section behind the Ju.88?

Kevin
The 'X' denoted that the aircraft had been testing a new radio system, X-Gerat. It was painted over prior to it undertaking combat sorties but was revealed again following recovery.
The restoration team are also working on a CF 104, so that may well be the green machine in the background.
cheers
Dave
