B-23 Dragon in Chattanooga TN

Wed Apr 01, 2020 10:44 am

Growing up in Chattanooga in the 1950s, I hung out at Lovell Field every chance I got. I remember that one of the FBOs had a B-23 that appeared to have been modified to a civil transport of some sort. I can no longer recall the operator's name but he was there for a good many years. Is anyone familiar with this fellow and recall his name? Also, does anyone know what happened to the Dragon?

Lots of good memories of that place. Me and my planenut buddy got to sit in the cockpit of a P-51 that was visiting for a while.

Thanks,
Claymore
