Lose the helmet, add a swastika and it would be perfect.

If you need to ask... ;-)

Seriously though they are looking for buyers. They are close to mating the wing to the the third fuselage. They will then proceed with wiring, etc. I got the impression that it won't take that long to do that work. They indicated if they could get a buyer, and therefore the engines, they could be doing taxi tests later this summer.

So who wants an Me-262 for delivery in the fall? I do, but I don't need to check my bank account to know I am dreaming.

Purty, but give me one of those new-build FWs in JG.1 markings!

Which absolutely floors me why one of the fliers has never made an appearance at Oshkosh. Seriously, there is no other event in the US where more aviation-oriented, private-sector funding is walking the same ramp than that last week in July. If they really want to catch big fish...

Well I did just find $10 in my pocket at school.

I think one needs to show up to Thunder over Michigan. We really need Axis presences for the show. How many times can we watch a single 109 get shot down?

Hmmm I guess I could watch that all day, but throw in a 262 and how about a new built 190  That would be a sight!

I love the fact that the shots are good quality. It’s about time some of those come out. I assume it flew dirty for the first flight?

How many of these do they intend to make available for sale?

Including the one with the wing close to mating to the fuselage, there are three more for sale. I have some not-so-good pictures from a few weeks ago at...

Who knows? White 1 is still in the U.S, and I have heard nothing to indicate it is going elsewhere. There has been nothing said that it won't tour this summer. I am praying to the warbird gods this it tour, and to a show I am attending!

Great shots. Sure looks real to me.

There are more pictures of this one on the Stormbirds.com site:
