B-25 Bomber
Airs on Saturday, May 6 at 3:00am ET

In 1943, a B-25 Mitchell, WWII's most versatile twin-engine bomber, crash-landed in South Carolina. It sank 150 feet to the bottom of a lake and over time was forgotten. Now, 60 years later, a local doctor is determined to raise the giant bomber intact and give it to a museum. Our team--divers, engineers, and preservationists--takes on the job of moving the 20,000-pound bomber to the surface, while faced with the challenges of working in nearly zero-visibility murky waters and the wrath of an approaching hurricane, plus fear that the plane may be breaking apart!

hi paul i was curious to know more about this project. is it the recovery of this plane that is going to be aired on tv or another show about b25 s ? also what channel is this going to be on? i saw the show on the b25 that crashed into the empire state building. very interesting. i suppose after completing a couple of tours in europe that poor pilot must have felt he was invincible. regards sim.

I am sorry, it was late when I posted this. It is about the recovery of a B-25 from underwater.

It is on the History Channel.
