I think I'm the only person I know of that actually enjoyed the uniqueness of the green & white stripes. Except for the "too bright" white nose, I've never been able to figure out why the blue/green scheme turned so many people off. Looks like everything other than the stripes remains the same on BuNo.97359.

I liked the stripes too Rob, almost as much as I liked them on the ex-Mike Bogue (sp?) Tigercat.

I built the Matchbox 1/72 kit with those colors many moons ago (oob), and did like them. So you're not all alone Rob...

Our info on the www.f4ucorsair.com website is fairly old....and we have'nt updated it in quite a while, obviously something we need to think of doing here soon....the plane was sold by Max Chapman to Tony Raftis, who then sold it on to the guy in Alaska....far as I know, it still appears in its current livery with green and white stripes and I have not heard of any plans to repaint it....apparently it will split its time between Alaska in the summer and California in the winter...
