about 25 years ago there was an rc b-36 in a national geographic. the article was on rc modelling, & the b-36 had a full page pic. it fully flew, had retractable gear etc. it even had a remote controlled aerial camera. pretty cutting edge for the old days!!

Wow!
I love the big RC stuff....it would be great to see it fly. Were is it? (US I suppose judging by the "N" numbered 114 in the background).
Some of the aircraft in the UK (where tthere seems to be a lot of giant RC activity) are unbelievable.

According to the eBay ad it's located in: LAWRENCEBURG, IN.

BTW, the current bid is $3,650 and the reserve has not been met.

Wow... biggest B-36 model I've since the one Jimmy Stewart crashed in "Strategic Air Command" - and this model predates the movie!

From eBay listing:

This model is very old and should not be purchased to fly.

Oh, come on. I dare ya.

I think that the UK has a larger weight limitation for R/C aircraft than the US.
