Tks for sharing Ryan.....more sleepless nights ahead :-)

Just looks like good stories that need(ed) to be inked down before we all forget.

Cant wait to see and hear your story post on the Thud pilot.

Claude Hone was the second pilot to be featured on OGTA. As a Marine in WWII, Claude flew F4U Corsairs from Guam to Tokyo. After the war, he became a founding member of the South Dakota Air National Guard and flew under Medal of Honor holder, Joe Foss.

Yet, Claude's story is not about war. He began a life-long quest for meaning and success through a unique brand of optimism and willpower. He found it, too.
