Was cancelled for reading, looks like it’s cancelled for June 16th-20th for barnes airport in Westfield, Ma. BUT is still scheduling rides for Nashua, nh right after Westfield. Any word on that landing gear?

They posted a photo on Facebook a couple of days ago of the parts they were waiting on. Aircorps Aviation fabricated them and sent them out. Shouldn't be too much longer now.

Understand the frustration, but remember that those guys only get one or two days a week to work on her. If you look on their fakebook page, the new pivots are installed and the mains hung, with the expectation of being able to finish the install, do the necessary swings and move her out for engine runs last weekend. Didn't see an update as to if it happened.

I've worked on various restorations since 1979, and even with paid help, things don't always go per plan and stuff pops up that changes things. Even happens at work, where we are the factory and have all the in house support to make our jets fly.

Lil is very close on finishing the gear. Supposed to pressurize the hydraulic system today and do a leak check before swinging it for checks and adjustment. There are a few items left on the inspection program to be buttoned up. Then there will be crew training and maintenance check flights. Given that it is raining cats and dogs here today and the rest of the week is not looking so great it may be next week before she gets outside. Rick and Ben are trying hard to get her on the road, but there are no guarantees of when.
