SOLD IT TO A BLACK GUY, WHO FLEW IT TO ALASKA. WHO OWNS IT NOW ?. WHAT A JERK I WAS TO

SELL IT IN THE FIRST PLACE, NOW I FLY A RV-4, I BUILT IT,. RETIRED FROM THE FAA AND NOW AM A DAR.

According to Warbirds Directory 4th Edition, the history of N58478 is as follows:
North American BC-1A c/n 55-1605 USAAF 39-855 (could also be USAAF 40-708). Registered as NC58478 to G.J. Degarmo of New Hampshire in 1946. To Standard Aerial Surveys, Inc. of New Jersey in 1946. To Agricultural Aviation Academy of Minden, Nevada as N58478 in 1963 or '64. Derelict and disassembled at Minden, NV by 1973.

Air Classics' "Warbird Report" section featured a photo of this plane in '74 or '75 - just a battered fuselage at that point; too bad as it must have been one of the earliest T-6 variants then extant...
