Cool day for the Calgary Mosquito Society. With the sale of Mosquito VR796 in Vancouver, we 'inherited' some goodies. Enough so as to require a 53' flatdeck! 'Props' to our VP Jack McWilliam for managing this deal. Stay turned for exciting details of what we got!
I asked and was told it’s staying in Canada. They were running it up a few weeks ago :

The mid-size Mosquito will round out the Centre’s warplane exhibit, nestled between the robust DC-3 and svelte Hawker Tempest MKII. As with the other warplanes, the Mosquito is intended to be a live display.

For future reference, this is C-FGXW, formerly N173RD and before that C-FGXW / CF-GXW / CF-TEG / KG769 / 43-48052, cn 25313/13868. One I haven't photographed yet, and so a reason to return to Kelowna (as if the Mosquito and the Tempest weren't reason enough ).
