Maude P-40E AK803 update

According to the latest issue of EAA's Warbirds magazine the Maude P-40 has been acquired by the Warbird Heritage Foundation in Waukegan Illinois and is currently with Tab-Air in East Troy, Wisconsin.

Just to clarify before the internet goes nuts, The P40E will NOT be restored. It will be an inspect and repair as necessary to airworthy condition and not to impact the originality.

Thanks for the clarification, I edited my post to remove the word "restoration". The article used the term but this sounds like a much better plan for the airframe.
