Possible TBM in Yard Sale looking collection

Mon Aug 01, 2022 8:35 pm

Someone just posted this on a car forum I frequent, apparently located in Oregon.
Looks like some cool stuff, including what appears to be a TBM fuselage. Anyone know this place?

Interesting helicopter collection.
They look far more complete than the TBM.
A bunch of short fuselage Hueys, including a Navy TH-1L.

Also, a couple of rare Allouette IIIs and an Enstrom cabin.

Also, what looks to be a nice fuselage of a Hello Courier.
Considering its Air America history, more examples of the type should be in a museum somewhere.

Whatever happened to the former Howard Pardue TBM that burned on the taxiway in Connecticut? You know, the same pilot that crashed a second TBM into the ocean a couple of years ago? Could that TBM be rebuilt with a donor fuselage?

Nearly all the Hueys are UH-1Fs, including the one with 202 on the door (ex N482DF of CDF).
At least five Hiller H-23s are also present.

I believe you are referencing Tom Duffy's TBM that burned up in New Jersey that was being flown by his crew chief Terry Rush.

It looks like there's a fuselage, centre section, engine mount, flaps, tail surfaces, a drop tank, wings and more pieces there. Definitely worth saving . My total guess is that someone bought it with the intention of restoring it and after dismantling it, didn't go further. Maybe the canopy, gear, and other items are there as well.
