I'm looking for any T-33 experts here! Our museum has T-33 / TV-2 (57-6558)
https://www.ctairandspace.org/t-33 that we hope to assemble and display within the next year, but have no Allison J33 that is supposed to go in it. We DO however have a Pratt & Whitney J42, which was the license built version of the Rolls-Royce Nene that powered the CT-133 Shooting Star.
So my question is: Could a J42 be installed in a T-33 / TV-2? Or would that require significant modifications? Are there major differences between the T-33 and CT-133? Any help would be appreciated!
