B-17 Miami Clipper

On the "Miami Clipper" were the de-ice boots yellow or black? I've searched online but have found nothing.

I believe, as on many combat B17s, the de-icer boots were removed and on Miami Clipper, the uncovered metal was painted yellow.

de-icing boots were black.
