That's great!

Quick question... Were all the ETO/MTO P-61s OD and were all the Pacific P-61s black?

This one, 42-5531, wasn't (sorry about the quality):

From Bud Seglin's album - for a long time I wondered about the scheme on this plane, and recently Wings or Airpower had a photo of it and said that it was a general's hack.

Great to see it is on display. I can't wait for the day I can see it in person.

Very nice indeed! This Black Widow now looks much better than it did when I saw it at Silver Hill in 1998 sitting in a dark corner with dust on it and broken windscreen glass.

Saw it last week in person. She's in great shape. They put her of to the side near the Korea/Vietnam era aircraft. Kinda of out of place.

Looks absolutely great to see her on display...
was anyone at the ceremony? Hear meyers talk about flying it?
video? would be great to hear his comments...

btw.. I too can't wait to see it, but the way its positioned, it looks like
you can't get near it for decent back end pictures.. sigh..

like so many of the aircraft in there, you can't move around to see
them from different angles..

so will they let you walk in there and take a couple of close up
pics if you get on your knees and say pretty please - I've driven
over 1000 miles to see this? or do they show no mercy?

anyone have any comments?
