I believe Lone Star has Thunderbird scheduled.

I notice on that page they also list FIFI as being on the list of bombers scheduled to attend....

Since Fifi's ailing and not able to tour, is Diamong Lil still scheduled to attend? I think the last time I saw her in person at Oshkosh was back in 86' when I was just a teenager!

I read on eaa.org that lil' will be attending still

Which B-17's ? I was trying to figure this out today too .... :D

Thunderbird for sure ~ and afterward she goes on to Willow Run for Thunder Over Michigan the following weekend

Its not Collings with 909 ~ they are in Illinois and then Kalamazoo the week after Oshkosh ~ http://www.bomberrides.org/cf_schedule-wof.htm

I'd love it to be Miss Angela ~ but I dont think she leaves California

Fuddy Duddy seems unlikely ~ given she has not flown often this year.

So ~ pure speculation on my part ( something I dont like doing ! ) I'd say the "other" two could be .....

CAF's Senitmental Journey - nothing to indicate this on their web site ~ but they were there last year ~ http://www.arizonawingcaf.com/pages/touring.html

My other assumption is Don Brooks and the Liberty Belle. If you look at the posted tour stops they are heading in just the right direction !

Ok what else ? The CAF's B-29 / B24 Squadron web site has LB-30 Diamond Lil on the calandar as attending ~ AND SELLING RIDES !

( Mouse onto one of the Oshkosh dates and click to open the link )
Remember this is the worlds oldest four engined airplane still flying !
In a few minutes ~ I'll emailing Keith Motas the tour rides co-odinator for confirmation ~ so as soon as I know I'll pass the details along.

The Memphis Belle is getting around this year! I would not be surprised to see that there.

Huh. Amazing. I never thought of that. But now that I do, it's obvious.

Although the Boeing 307, I guess, took away the title until it was retired to Udvar-Hazy.

I would think there's a good chance of Sentimental Journey being one of the five, it being in Maine up until that week.

Maybe Chuckie?

Sorry, Liberty Belle is not planning to be at Oshkosh this year. It's moving towards Maine to stage for the trip to Canada in August. The Canada trip was cancelled last year due to the hurricane on the east coast.

Thanks for the news Chuck !

Do you have details of her tour stop scedule for July ?

Specifically ~ where will she be for the weekend of 22nd / 23rd ??

I'll be coming across from England for Oshkosh and was hoping to include a ride in the Liberty Belle as part of the trip.

Its not on the website ~ so I emailed Scott Maher but ~ so far I haven't seen a reply :(
