I've been talking a lot lately with Jim Edwards who ran Bill Harrah's Automobile Collection years back. Besides the Tri-motor, P-38(F-5) & P-40M, Jim said there was a large number of antiques aircraft. Does anyone have photos of the collection or a list of the a/c and their disposition?
Jim by the way is a amazing guy. He joined the RAF in 1940 and flew 100+ missions has a Typhoon pilot in 56 Squadron and transfered to the 354th FG 356th FS in late 1943. He scored 4.5 kills and another 7 on the ground while flying another 62 missions. He spent almost 4 years overseas returning home in Aug 1944. Jim directed the Ford restoration and was one of 2 main pilots for it.
