In reference to the FAA AD, how did some planes come out of this relatively quickly, and others (Texas Raiders) are taking so long? Is it a $$ matter or does it depend upon the discovery of cracks and the extent of repairs? Just curious......

In addition to the available funds and extent of repairs needed it also appears that some of the operators had an established fulltime maintenance staff where as others such as Texas Raiders rely more heavily on volunteers which can slow down the process. I am sure that anyone in the Houston area that wants to get involved with the Texas Raiders repairs would be welcomed with open arms.
