Despite yesterday’s tragedy today’s show went flawless. Attached are a few highlights quickly edited on the laptop.

Dang Ollie, did you really have to take the supertraps off of your kids car to make that thing fly?

All kidding aside, I really like the paint job!

Beautiful shots. Love the Mustang. Nice to see one in camo for a change. The yellow looks good but it probably isn't much use as an anti-glare panel!

Sunday show was great with better skies. It was great spending time with the guys again and finally meeting Dave Cheeseman aka Ontario Warbird.

Great shots Eric!

I'm sorry I didn't spent more time with you, but time do fly rather quickly at an airshow!

I'll be posting my pictures later on.

No problem, you were a busy guy and I was off taking photos. Maybe a beer at Geneseo if all goes well.

I take it you made it home ok and all is well. It was good to see the FW flying and the “Harphoon”

Happy Landings,

Eric

Cheers Eric!

We need to get going on a little air-to-air project for Geneseo...

The Spit came back from the flight taxiing like a bat out of hell, only to turn on the ramp and cut the mixture. The engine was about to boil down.

Who is the P-51 registered to?

Mon Jun 19, 2006 1:27 am

Sweet shots, AIRIC, Ollie,

I just noticed something,

The Focke Wolfe looks like a Navion. I have Navion on the brain because I'm thinking of it as a first airplane.

Ollie, do you know how close are they to each other? Any tips?

The Mustang is Vintage Wings over Canada, ex- Oklahoma Miss.

Orvis, the Navion and the Fw are two different designs. The Fw is a Piaggio built under license by Focke-Wulf and is about 30% than a Navion.

Ollie,

30% what? Faster? Because I'm pretty sure the Navion is 30% cooler... :)

30% bigger.

Me mistake.

The Navion probably flies 30% farther and is probably 30% lighter too!

What pretty flowers on the F/A 18... :D
