This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Courtesy Aircraft are advertising the former Richard Nivo A-26 44-35710 N7705C 'Hard to Get' for sale at present.
Does anyone know its current status, wherabouts and owner? An inquiry on the current FAA register under N7705C brings up the information "This aircraft's registration status may not be suitable for operation."

When you get to that message just click on continue below the text. This should be displayed in blue, and presto, you ought to be directed to the info in question.

Please forgive me if I am wrong...
But wasn't this same A26 (really nice restoration) for sale just a little while ago on Courtesy's web site? My notes indicate it was offered at $ 595G back in August 2001.
It has been "off" their web site for a while and now has returned.
I spent some time with the crew during its first visit to OSH in '98 - nice guys and a really nice a/c. Wish I had $ 479G for an a/c.

....but this still doesn't answer my question TJ. It seems to have 'gone to ground' for the last couple of years. I'm trying to ascertain who, where, and whether it still flies or is locked away in a hangar in some flar-flung part of the globe (as rumours woulds have me believe!)!

The aircraft is located at my hanger here in IL. Looks great needs a new home. This is a really nice bird.

Fantastic news!
Everything that Cavanaugh Flight Museum touches either IS gold or TURNS to gold! They have a fabulous collection of warbirds!
Congratulations to the gang at Addison from your buds at the dirty ol' hangar at Meacham!
Cheers!

Sounds good to me. Everything that Cavanaugh has flown down to Lone Star looked first class.

I did that, but it didn't help me much. Who/what is Skyfire Corp?
