Who do the names refer to on the engines? They appear to be the same names as when it was Porky II.

Anyone know why the nose art/name was changed? This isn't common unless the owner changes right? Curious!

The museum received sponsorship from the P-38 Association to build a display hangar for the aircraft. In exchange the Association got to pick the colour scheme.
