Great photo Jack, a warbug with a bite! I'm curious about what looks to be
an oxygen tank mounted in in the overhead. An oxy tank or compressed
air storage used to trigger the RPG?...or?

???

Those are standard infantry 2.75" bazookas and are
fired electrically. I thought maybe extra fuel for hunting
Tiger tanks???!!! Those crazy/stupid SOBs!

Ahh!! Thanks..I've seen L-5 photos with Jerry-cans strapped to the struts
for extra range, but inside the cockpit looks a bit risky! If sh*t hit the fan
I wouldn't want that thing banging about the office and my noggin..

As for the bazooka's...I've always admired shadetree engineering in a pinch.
I would like to think I'd have been among those crazy SOB's in that time.

Maybe it's the beer they'll need to keep their courage up while hunting those Tigers.
