The last of the "Killer Group" that attacked Admiral Yamamoto's flight over Ballale has passed. Besby Holmes at 88 yrs. old. Lanphier, Barber, Holmes and Hines changed the Pacific war in one daring improbable act. Heroes one and all.

I assume they meant to say "wingman" instead of co-pilot.
