A CH-54A Skycrane crashed yesterday in Northern California during forest fire operations. Both pilots died unfortunately. The CH-54 was a veteran of the Vietnam war and was operated by Heavy Lift Helicopters. This is the second one they have lost . It was totally destroyed. 2 more brave fire fighting pilots lost. Rest in Peace.
