Columbia XJL-1

Wed Aug 30, 2006 10:56 pm

Perhaps old news, but news to me...

It would appear from the links that RW Martin Inc. completed restoration of the Columbia XJL-1.

Can anyone elaborate on this restoration? Static or flyable? TIA

Also, no need to post info on the Pima example, just this one please.

It was flyable, crashed and flipped over on a test flight due to a throttle linkage not being saftied, I don't know if they repaired it or not

Matt, last news I read was in 2002 that repair work was ongoing. I was just hoping I wasn't looking at an old photo.
