Spent today heading down to the waterfront of Toronto to see the show.
For the life of me driving in that town sucks

Wait, I'm confused.

Is the F-22 the one with the red nose and with USAF under a wing or is it the white one with "Starfighter" under a wing?

Mon Sep 04, 2006 8:35 pm

Don't be silly everyone knows the F-22 has twin tails. Its' the one with red and white stripes on the rudders. You Canucks just don't know your airplanes.

Tue Sep 05, 2006 6:46 am

Really? It thought that twin tail job was a F-111.

Tue Sep 05, 2006 7:30 am

Now I'm confused! I think you might be right under closer observation it does look a lot like an Ardvark. The F-22 must be that gray plane with four engine pods under it.

Tue Sep 05, 2006 7:31 am

nah ! the F-111 has a single tail - it's the one with four engine-pods slung underneath the wings

Tue Sep 05, 2006 7:35 am

Whatever it is thats a great picture of it in a climb.

Tue Sep 05, 2006 7:35 am

Ah, right.

So the twin tail job must be a F-14 Tomcat then.

Tue Sep 05, 2006 7:37 am

Wrong again, the US Navy has retired the Tomcats so it must be something else.

Tue Sep 05, 2006 7:44 am

I'm stumped.

twin tail => P-38 - simple

Tue Sep 05, 2006 7:48 am

Nah--- P-82

I went to the Cleveland air show yesterday and I guess they shared the flyby of the F-22s and the B-1. All I can say about the 22 is WOW! Once they got done with their demo we were treated to an aerial refueling involving the 2 F-22s and a KC-135 from Springfield OH ANG. They sent an Aura down from your show too.

 I wonder what the F-22 sounds like..?
